Ovarian Rejuvenation

Ovarian Rejuvenation is a newer procedure used for women who are unable to conceive due to a low egg count, whether because of early menopause, low egg count or advanced maternal age. The procedure is used to encourage new egg production in women who no longer have any eggs or lower egg count.

Until very recently, it was an undisputed fact that women were born with all the eggs she would ever have stored in her ovaries. However there have been numerous reported pregnancies and published research following trials of ovarian rejuvenation in Greece, Japan, the USA and here in Australia. Many clinics and specialists have now begun to offer ovarian rejuvenation to wind back the clock for women who were previously unable to conceive.

Dr Sonya Jessup has been performing the Ovarian Rejuvenation procedure for over three years and has recorded pregnancies associated with this procedure, some without having to undergo any further fertility treatment.
